What I'm wearing, Orange is the new black?

*Shoes, ASOS*Trousers, La Radoute*top, topshop*Cardi, Charity shop*

Quick moving day outfit, comfy and easy to be lugging all my stuff about. I really hope this is a better house than my last one, it's a big shared house with people I've never met (budget is forcing me to go this route) so I'm apprehensive! Counting down the day till I have a break from work and a wee holiday abroad, sun,sea and sand call my name!

What I'm wearing, Primark Green & Purple

Everything Primark!
So I've been really lazy on posting anything...I could come up with an excuse but really I've just been lazy haha. I found this lovely skirt a few weeks ago in my local primark and I love the print so much! perfect for work :). I'm having to move house again (sob) because the landlord wants to rent to students only, so that's meant house hunting and knowing where to go next has had me stressed!

Hope everyone is well!

What I'm Wearing, Leafy Green.

*Sandals, New Look*Jeggings H&M* Top, Topshop*
I've had these sandals for years and year and they've been one of the best things I've ever bought, they go together with so many things! They do have a horrible habit of rubbing my little toes but I always plaster up in advance when I wear them so it's usually fine. I threw this one when I went for a bit of a wander in town as I had nothing to do!

I've been wasting my time playing far to much Hearthstone- If anyone else plays this how addictive is it?! I've been playing with one of my favourite people and we have loads of fun :) it's a turn based card game from the makers of World of Warcraft-not as geeky as it sounds! but you basically get a deck filled with cards that have different spells, attacks and other cool things and the aim it to attack the other person and get their health down to zero!

I love console games and computer games, as I kid I had a N64, Playstation, Xbox, Xbox and a few computer games. At secondary school me and some friends did "ladys who lunch" which consisted of us all going round to someones house and playing Halo and eating loads of food- bliss! I guess I'm not the average girl!

What I'm Wearing, Wee Hearts.

*Boots, River Island*Trousers La Radutte*Top River Island*

I wore this to work the other day, we get to be quite casual in our office so leather look trousers are ok! Because the weathers getting warmer our office has turned in to a furnace and it's becoming harder and harder to dress for work, either to cold on the way in/home or roasting when I'm there! it's a nightmare. Anyone else have this problem?

I love the little chain/heart details on the top, because I'm a lazy jewlerry wears (I just forget to wear what I've got!) it's such a godsend to have it already on the top so I literally can't forget it! haha. Life wise nothing too exciting has happened, I'm house hunting again (so new room pictures when I find a place) because my landlord wants to rent to students :(. Also really trying to get my older sister to book a holiday with me! I need a beach, sun and cocktails in my life, it's been 4yrs since I last had a holiday-way over due!

What I'm Wearing, Light Grey

Missguided Dress, Newlook Boots, Asos Petite Coat, Newlook Socks.

Since we had a brief bit of sun the other day I decided to brave bare legs (oh the joy at no tights!). I can't wait for warmer weather and pretty summer dresses and shorts!  I've nothing exciting to report live wise, another week of work and that's about it!
This Misguided dress isn't one that I wear that often because I don't like wearing it with tights, so hopefully the warmer it gets the more I'll get to wear it! The Newlook shoes have been ones i've worn pretty much every day since I got them, so good for the cold weather! Same with my Asos Petite coat, deep pockets, a massive hood and it's all snug and warm=perfect!

I don't know about you...but I'm feeling 23?

So it was my birthday last week! and I turned the grand old age of 23! I'm not someone who really wants to go all out and spend a week celebrating my birthday but I do like to have a night out to celebrate (any excuse!) It was a really fun night out and we ended up going to several places around Leeds, Verve, Lloyds and Players. I wore my Misguided Bonitta Origami Mini Dressfor the night and a pair of black strappy primark shoes. I do love the dress but I think it would look a million times better on my when I have a tan because it's such a pale pink and i'm pretty pale at the moment! (camera flash doesn't help either! haha)

Few snaps from the night :)

On a more serious note I guess turning 23 has made me really sit down and look at my life and what i've managed to do nearly a year after finishing uni (and possible one of the best years of my life). It's hard to admit to yourself that you aren't exactly happy, don't get me wrong I have some good nights out and fun times but if i'm sat alone and really think, I'm not happy with where I am. I guess it could be the shock (it is a shock imo) of finishing university and having  good set of friends, house and little life set up and then moving back home and really having to start again.

New house, new job, new friends. It's all a bit of a whirlwind and it takes a lot of effort, I'm not the most social person so it's really daunting to me to try and push myself to get out there and meet people in a big city like Leeds. I feel a bit small and unnoticed, i've been really lucky with work and having lots of nice girls who are my own age but i'd like to build on that and have a really strong base of good friends. Most days I go to work, come home and don't speak too/see anyone until I go to work again- I'd love to have a group to just hang at the pub with random week nights (ah uni I miss those times).

I feel like I should be doing so much more, have to much more of my life together. I guess it's a "grass is greener" type thinking but it does get me down. Just going to try and concentrate on the things I can get and the things I can do to move my life to a happier place.Which leads me to my final question for you guys reading! anyone know of any good clubs/hobby ideas to get out and meet people my own age?
